Shalom! My name is Hila. I have been an educator since 2003. Until 2014, I was an elementary school teacher in Israel, and since then, I have been teaching Hebrew as a second language in the United States.

Throughout my career, I have focused on reading instruction — from initial letter recognition to the development of full, fluent reading. I teach with great passion and am always looking for creative ways to tailor the learning experience to children, their interests, and their personalities. For me, thinking outside the box is an inseparable part of quality teaching.

The tools on this website and app were born from a real need in the classroom. Every game here is designed to practice reading in an engaging, independent way, at a personal pace. Reading practice usually requires an adult listener, takes time, and can sometimes be tedious for kids — so I wanted to make the process accessible, fun, and empowering.

Children who used these tools showed higher motivation and achieved faster, significant results. These tools also allowed me to understand exactly what each child needed to practice, making the learning process focused and efficient. Above all, it is important to me that children learn through enjoyment — because fun and motivation are the keys to deep, meaningful learning.

שלום! אני הילה. מאז 2003 אני עוסקת בחינוך ובהוראה: עד שנת 2014 שימשתי מחנכת בבתי ספר יסודיים בישראל, ומאז 2014 ועד היום אני מלמדת עברית כשפה שנייה בארצות הברית.

במהלך שנות עבודתי התמקדתי בהוראת הקריאה, מהיכרות ראשונית עם האותיות ועד לפיתוח קריאה מלאה, שוטפת ורהוטה. אני עושה את עבודתי באהבה גדולה, ותמיד מחפשת דרכים יצירתיות להתאים את הלמידה לילדים, לתחומי העניין שלהם ולמי שהם. חשיבה מחוץ לקופסה היא עבורי חלק בלתי נפרד מהוראה איכותית.

הכלים שבאתר ובאפליקציה נולדו מתוך צורך אמיתי שעלה בכיתה. כל משחק באתר או באפליקציה הוא כלי שנועד לתרגל את הקריאה, בצורה חווייתית, עצמאית ובקצב אישי. תרגול הקריאה מצריך בדרך כלל מבוגר שיקשיב, דורש זמן ולעיתים עשוי להיות משעמם עבור הילדים — ולכן רציתי להפוך את התהליך לנגיש, מהנה ומעצים.

הילדים שהתנסו בכלים הללו הראו מוטיבציה גבוהה יותר והגיעו לתוצאות מהירות ומשמעותיות. הכלים גם אפשרו לי להבין באופן מדויק מה כל ילד צריך לתרגל, וכך להפוך את הלמידה לממוקדת ויעילה. מעל הכול, חשוב לי שהילדים ילמדו מתוך הנאה — כי הנאה ומוטיבציה הן המפתח ללמידה טובה, עמוקה ומשמעותית.
